  • Walking

Alpine is a fantastic place for walking. Wide and well-maintained sidewalks line several of our main streets, and a walking trail in and around Kokernot Park offers wide open space and beautiful mountain views. Visit the Alpine Chamber of Commerce Visitor Center at 106 N 3rd St. to pick up a brochure with a Historic Walking Tour of downtown Alpine.

Wild Ride

Wild Ride by Kimberly Juarez

The scenic highways rolling out in each direction from Alpine are a magnet for motorcycles. The free, open roads, with limited traffic, wide expanses and big skies call out to revving engines. The mild temperatures and cool, high-desert climate make it pleasant to ride most of the year. The safe, secure atmosphere is a welcome change of pace. All this, and the amenities and services that Alpine has to offer as the central locale for staging all your rides, make this a biker-friendly town.

Below is a list of in-town shops that provide either basic services or parts for maintenance or repairs. The city is also home to many hotels and several types of guest
rentals
for bikers, whether you’re looking to house big groups, or just looking to make sure there’s a garage to house your ride.
