Self-isolation, social distancing, homeschooling, it’s all caused Earth Day activities to be canceled or postponed. This year marks the 50th anniversary of Earth Day and we can’t let that go by unnoticed!
The City of Alpine Environmental Services and Visit Alpine have found a way to stay safe, make learning fun, and honor our planet Earth!
Click here for a printable Earth Day Bingo Card.
Take videos or pictures of your kids completing a horizontal, vertical or diagonal “EARTH” and post them with #alpineearthdaycontest
Please submit all 4 (if you use the free square) or five activities at once along with a picture of your Bingo card showing an X through each of the activities you complete. There will be prizes for all the kids who complete “EARTH” and a special prize for those who do a full “blackout” card. Families can share in the fun and submit the activities as a group or for each individual child. We will contact you with prize pick up info when the contest ends.
The contest starts on April 20th and you have until the end of the month, the 30th, to submit your entry.
Watch for daily Facebook posts with suggestions for the Earth Day activities starting April 20th.
