James W. Cornett is a desert ecologist and author living in Palm Springs, California. Mr. Cornett has dozens of books to his name – everything from roadrunners to desert plants and wildlife, to rattlesnakes to the Chihuahuan Desert. He is one of the Southwest’s most prolific writers with more than forty of his books published as of 2018.
