Black Bear Weekend

Alpine Artist Chris Ruggia is hosting a weekend all about black bears, August 1st and 2nd.

1-2pm: Bear Research Talk 

Bear researchers Caitlin Camp, Jesse Ellgren and Matthew Hewitt will join wildlife artist Chris Ruggia to discuss the latest from Borderlands Research Institute!

Plus info and advice from Texas Parks & Wildlife on what we need to do to make our neighborhoods safe for people AND the bears who might visit!

2-4pm: 5-Minute Animal Drawings by wildlife artist Chris Ruggia
