Mia is a singer/songwriter from Vermont, now based in Marfa. She started writing music in the summer of 2012 with the MA based band, The Dire Honeys. Now, going solo, she calls her style : North Country Soul. Greatly inspired by Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline, Hank Williams and Etta James, her music comes from the heart, covered in salt. She is raw and unapologetic, but also tender, with touching songs of heartache.
