The Museum of the Big Bend presents The Upshaws of County Line: An American Family. The exhibit documents photographer Richard Orton’s 25-year project documenting life in the African American community of County Line in deep East Texas, a “freedom colony” founded in the 1880s. Opening Weekend: January 18-19.
