Beach Mural at Alpine Medical Center

Long-time Alpine artist Deborah Allison (who has sadly now moved away) painted a tropical paradise in the Chihuahuan Desert on two sides of the Alpine Medical Center.

Alpine’s Post Office until September 2000, built in 1939, is typical of WPA architecture. The inside retains most of its original features, including “View of Alpine”, a mural painted by Jose Moya del Pine in 1940.
