Alpine Photo Weekend at Museum of the Big Bend

Alpine Photo Weekend at The Museum of the Big Bend is June 13 & 14th.
The opening reception of Finding the Light: Photography by Jim Bones is Friday June 13th from 5pm-7pm. $15 admission for non-members.

Saturday June 14th will be a series of workshops, talks, and presentations.
Admission is FREE to the public.

8:00am- Nature walk with Matt Walter- Take your camera and meet on Museum’s patio!

10:30-11:30- Beck Duval Reese- Curator of Finding the Light and close friend of Jim Bones. Special Guest: Ann Matlock

11:30-12:30- Matt Walter- Photographing Big Bend’s birds.

12:30-1:30- Special Pop-Up with Sky Island Culinary. This will be a perfect chance to get your portrait taken on our patio by Fort Davis Photographer, Carolyn Miller.

1:30-2:30- Elysia Perkins- Emerging Austin Photographer, capturing movement, emotion, and storytelling

2:30-3:30- Bobby Greeson, Professional photographer talks about travel photography.
