Alpine’s Independence Day celebration includes a parade, live music, food and crafts vendors, a car show and a fireworks display.

The July 4th Celebration will take place on Thursday, July 4, 2019, at Kokernot Park after the conclusion of the parade. The parade will kick off at 4:00 p.m. at Porter’s Thriftway on 5th and Sul Ross Ave. Grand Marshall will be 2009 & 2010 Big Bend Cowboys Baseball Teams.

Live music by The Resonators all evening, and a Community Band performance at 7:30 p.m. We will have a Hot Dog eating Contest beginning at 7:00 p.m., and spectacular fireworks at dark.

Back this year – The 4th of July Car Show! Get your classic cars, your hot rods, your weekend warrior cars out for the parade and plan on parking them at Kokernot Park after the parade for all to enjoy. No entry fee. Prizes will be awarded.
