Independent Bookstore Day

Front Street Books has tons of things to celebrate their favorite bookish holiday on Saturday, April 25th! There are some details that can’t be revealed until the day of (top secret, super exciting goodies), but for now, here is what you can for certain expect at the bookstore:

There will be a Book Signing and Panel Discussion in-store from 1-3 PM! Meet conservationists Madge Lindsay, Cecilia Riley, and Carolyn Ohl, as well as author Jennifer Bristol—and get her newest book, Wild Women for Good, signed at the end of the panel discussion!

From 2-3 PM, you can bring a picture of your pet for a Pet Portrait from local artist Hannah Kate! Make sure to bring cash or have a Venmo account.

The Scavenger Hunt for the Libro.fm Golden Ticket is back on! From open until a winner claims it, get the first clue at the counter. There can only be one winner!

There will be sweet treats, door prizes, and indie-exclusive items available throughout the day while supplies last!

Leading up to Indie Bookstore Day is Spirit Week! Dress up according to the schedule and get 10% off one new book purchase the day of: Silly socks on Monday 20th, plaid on Tuesday 21st, bookstore shirts on Wednesday 22nd, book character dress-up on Thursday 23rd, and a Front Street Books shirt on Friday 24th!
