Make Music Day - Alpine

Start up your summer with music in the high desert mountains!
On Saturday, June 21, an all-day progressive celebration will lead you around Alpine’s small, walkable downtown, inviting you to join in the music making or just sit back and enjoy.

Make Music Alpine will serve up a full day of activities for listeners and players at any experience level!

9am-Noon:
Start the day at the Alpine Farmers Market, learning harmonica basics and joining in with a band!

Noon-4pm:
Then enjoy an outdoor Open Mic at Cow Dog, Alpine’s gourmet hot dog food truck and café. Share a few songs yourself, get a few tips and join in with a percussion workshop, or just enjoy the music and some refreshing food and drink.

4pm-7pm:
As the afternoon warms up, head indoors for air conditioning and performances from some of Alpine’s favorite bands!
4pm: Tom Griffith & Wind
5pm: The Swifts
6pm: West Texas Jammers

7pm-10pm:
Lastly, bring your ears or your instruments in the evening to one of Alpine’s signature Music Circles, a play-along song swap welcoming to anyone at any level of skill. Hosted by Alpine singer/songwriter Ross Fleming.
