Windmill House

The Windmill House is located three blocks from downtown in a quiet, quaint neighborhood. This Craftsman style house was built in 1913 and sits on 3/4’s of an acre. The lot is adorned with beautiful plants and trees including a mature pecan, mules ear prickly pear, wisteria vine, pomegranate trees and much more. Since the house is adjacent to Alpine Creek, dusk and dawn brings frequent sightings of mule deer and javelinas. The home was completely restored and updated in 2016. The interior is super clean and the decor is lovely and unique. A special room off of the dining area holds historical items found on the premises during renovation. Come see a perfectly preserved jar of canned snap peas from 1942!
