Historic Alpine Christmas Stroll gathers on Saturday December 2nd at the First Baptist Church at N 4th St and Sul Ross Ave at 5:30 p.m.

Get ready for a festive twist at our Christmas Stroll this evening!

Each band plays three sets between 5:30 PM & 7 PM. This new format will fill the air with melodies while allowing students, friends, and families to enjoy each other’s company over delightful hot cocoa and cookies. Dress warm and get ready to stroll, enjoy music, and sip hot cocoa! We can’t wait to celebrate with you all!

* Montessori School at First Baptist Church, North 4th & East Sul Ross Ave.

* Big Bend Community Chorale, directed by Dr. Andrew Allegria at First United Methodist Church, 208 E Sul Ross Ave.

* Fort Stockton Combined Choirs, led by Omar Guerrero at The Scales House – Vajdos Home, 301 E Sul Ross Ave.

* Alpine Community Band, conducted by Chuck Wilson at The Holland House, 403 E. Sul Ross Ave.

* Alpine Middle School Band, under the direction of Marina Azar at The McFarland Home, 701 E. Sul Ross.

* Alpine HS Band, directed by Anna Kathryn Holmes at Hancock-Quiett Family & Vaquero Homes, 803 E Sul Ross Ave.

* At 7:00 PM, catch a glimpse of Santa making his jolly journey from the Baptist Church up East Sul Ross to SRSU Library Circle/Centennial Plaza.

*The grand finale at 7:30 PM features all bands and choirs coming together for a spectacular performance directed by Dr. Andrew D. Alegria at SRSU Library Circle/Centennial Plaza.

Following the stroll, come see The Swifts performing at 8:30 PM at The Vaquero-Branch Family House, 208 N. Cockrell.
